A mix-up in the tour dates

Category: News | by admin

There was a small mix-up in the tour dates. The Fireballs’ gig, which was put down for the 27th of December, is actually next Friday, on the 27th of November.

The date has now been corrected. My apologies!

The biggest and most popular so-called “youth house” in Turku, where kids between 7 and 18 can find several different activities, will be 30 years old this year.  It is still very active, and has over 40 000 visitors every year. The house is in Runosmäki, which is the biggest suburb in Turku.

Taage performed his very first live gig in that same house in 1987, 22 years ago.

Kilpi’s fifth studio album “Pirun merta” will be in stores on October the 7th. Before that they will release two new singles for the radio stations at the same time: “Katalat ihmiset” and “Aina kun sä lähdet pois”. The former is a more heavy sounding song and the ladder represents more traditional Kilpi.

The band’s sound has become even heavier, with the guitars playing a bigger role since the keyboard player “Kukkis” Kukkola left the band earlier this year.  The first single “Viinapiru” describes their new sound quite well. “Pirun merta” picks up the slack right from the start and goes on without leaving much time for catching one’s breath.

“Pirun merta” track list:
1. Katalat ihmiset 4:05 (Deceitful people)
2. Viinapiru 2:59 (The Demon of Spirits)
3. Pahan ilman linnut 4:24 (The Bearers of Evil)
4. Aina kun sä lähdet pois 3:54 (Every Time You Go Away)
5. Käännetään maailma 4:30 (Let’s Turn the World Around)
6. Anteeksi että elän 3:49 (Sorry I’m Alive)
7. Rakkaudessa rakkaudeton 3:37 (Loveless in Love)
8. Uuden ajan mestarit 3:24 (The Masters of the Modern Times)
9. Kyykäärmeen pää 4:27 (The Head of the Viper)
10. Hoitaja 4:16 (The Nurse)
